What Extra Sensitive means

Fresh Linen is the standard sheet, with fragrance.

Fragrance Free is the same formula with the fragrance left out.

Extra Sensitive is a different formula, built for the most reactive skin in the house: no fragrance, no enzymes, and its own cleansing ingredients, chosen for being kind to skin.

It is the sheet our customers with very sensitive skin most often switch to, and the one we point to for baby clothes.

Our laundry sheets are skin-irritation tested to OECD TG439, never on animals.

FAQs
How do I use the sheets?

Pop one sheet in the drum before your clothes. That’s it. Half a sheet does small or lightly soiled loads; use two for big or heavily soiled ones.

Do they work in cold washes, and in my machine?

Yes and yes. The sheets dissolve fully at 20°C and above, and they’re low-suds by design, so they work in any machine, including high-efficiency ones.

Are they kind to sensitive skin?

They’re formulated to be skin-kind, and we publish every ingredient, including the full fragrance breakdown, so you can check anything against your own sensitivities. If your skin needs extra care, choose Fragrance Free or Extra Sensitive, and patch-test a single item first. Full guidance is under Allergen information above.

Do I still need fabric conditioner?

That’s up to you. The sheets wash soft on their own. If you love extra softness and a scent you choose, our Fabric Conditioner Sheets are made to pair with them.

Will they affect towels, gym gear or delicates?

No. Each sheet carries only a small amount of softener, so towels stay absorbent and sportswear keeps its wicking. They’re colour-safe and gentle enough for delicates; if a garment is precious to you, test it on its own first.

Tear to the load

Most washes are smaller than the machine, so the amount you use should shrink too. Half a sheet does a regular wash, a whole sheet a big one, and a quarter does a small load or a few items. Nothing wasted.

The cap decides your dose

In independent lab testing, a bigger dosing cap alone pushed people to use 16% more, whatever the wash needed. A sheet has no cap: the right amount is already measured.

The double-size trick

What this means

OECD TG439 is the internationally recognised method for skin irritation. The finished formulation is applied to reconstructed human epidermis, lab-grown human skin tissue, and the tissue is measured for irritation. It is an in-vitro method, so no animals and no volunteers are involved. It is how we back up the words gentle and skin-kind with data rather than adjectives.

What this means

OECD 301B is the internationally recognised standard for how quickly a substance breaks down in water treatment. Certification means the wash that leaves your machine breaks down quickly, rather than persisting in waterways.

Checked against ECHA’s lists

Every formulation

Before any ingredient goes in, we check it against the European Chemicals Agency’s lists of endocrine disruptors, CMR substances and Substances of Very High Concern.

What this means

ECHA is the EU body that classifies chemicals. CMR stands for carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction. Our checking process excludes ingredients on these lists, and we re-check whenever the lists are updated. This is our own checking process against ECHA’s published lists, not an ECHA endorsement.

I was really skeptical about using the laundry sheets after using Persil for so long, I wondered if the freshness would be there but the sheets clean really well - speaking as a family of 4 with 2 young children - and also leave a lovely scent on your clothes (not overpowering but a nice, fresh scent).

I don't get the gel remaining in the clothes after a wash cycle as these are sheets which dissolve completely in the wash cycle (even on a quick wash at low temperatures)... Some more fragrances to choose from would be a nice addition to the product.

The laundry sheets leave the laundry smelling great. It's not too strong a scent though which is good. There's no bulky bottles or powder box which makes them easy to store. Price wise it is a bit on the expensive side compared to other detergents.

Generally the dip sheets work well with moderately grubby washing. However if an item is stained, or very dirty then they do not work so well. Getting blood out of laundry is difficult I grant but dip failed miserably with this yesterday.

A mixed bag ....

I like that this product is natural and toxin free so will continue to use it, however I was disappointed at the scent on the clothes after washing... The sheets clean lightly soiled clothing well but unfortunately the stain removing properties aren't so good on my outdoor, mud loving 8 year olds clothes!

Expensive, does the job, brilliant ethos

Love that these sheets are so space-saving (as well as being better for our health)... So far, I've found that I have to use a whole sheet, and not one torn in half, for my 9kg loads in a hard-water area. Unfortunately, it makes laundry doubly as expensive as it otherwise might be

Honest review

So I love the ethics of the company. The wash sheets are ok but for a freshen up load-they didn't get the stains out of white school uniform. The scent isn't strong at all but that's ok because of the benefits of using the sheets.

Not completely open about ingredients

I actually took the time to read the ingredients of the fragrance free sheets and I was shocked to see 'Builder' and 'Fabric softener' on the back of the box. I have also seen on their list of ingredients that they have PVA which is a cause for concern as it enters the water courses as micro plastics.

Sadly the laundry sheets just don't...

Sadly the laundry sheets just don't perform. Our laundry is fairly challenging, as we have 2 boys, a motocrosser and a lot of sports laundry!... I've now had to use 2 full sheets to get even half the cleaning performance of Fairy non bio that we were using before.

Not as good as expected!

They smell beautiful as the dry sheets, but didn't have that same affect on the washing- says on the pack to used 3 sheets, I've had to use 4 of the detergent sheets and 4 of the fabric conditions sheets just to get the slightest hint of fresheness!

Can't compete with big brands if you can't get generic stains out

They smell lovely before you put them and that's why it gets two stars. After washing there is no scent, my clothes don't feel really clean and the stains don't come out at all.

Laundry Sheets With No Power

Sorry Dip I really wanted to love these products but the laundry sheets just don't work on even the simplest of stains, i've tried double, i've tried hotter & longer washes & the fab con sheets add absolutely nothing at all to the wash, nothing comes out soft.
